About
Satori has been a fixture of Kingston upon Thames's dining scene since 2003, founded by an architect passionate about authentic Japanese food who was determined to fill a gap left by the disappearance of his own favourite Japanese restaurant. Situated on the top floor of the Bentall Centre, Satori Izakaya combines the relaxed informality of a Japanese izakaya with the fun of conveyor-belt sushi. The kitchen works to strict standards with training by the Japan Food Company, one of Japan's largest food companies, ensuring genuine Tokyo-style cooking. The restaurant was rated in TripAdvisor's top 10% worldwide in 2020.
