About
Nami Nori's Montclair location brings the West Village original's highly regarded temaki format to Bloomfield Avenue in one of New Jersey's most vibrant dining towns. Founded by Masa veterans Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee, and Lisa Limb, the restaurant extends the same open-style hand roll concept and commitment to premium fish and sushi rice that earned the flagship location Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. The Montclair branch operates for both lunch (Friday through Sunday, 12–2:30 p.m.) and dinner (Monday through Sunday from 5 p.m.), with dinner service running to 9:30 p.m. The design and menu reflect the consistent philosophy of the broader Nami Nori group: serious Japanese culinary training applied to an accessible, counter-style dining format. For New Jersey diners, it is the most compelling hand roll destination outside Manhattan.

- Weekend lunch service starting at noon makes Nami Nori Montclair a rare high-quality Japanese midday destination in the suburbs.
